Salvete and welcome to my blog! I am Ellery, the gardener of this wild place. I started my blog as a place to document my life, share my projects, and contemplate the world. It is random, spontaneous, and full of the myriad ideas in my mind.

I am a Christian, homeschooled teen from the beautiful state of Michigan. I live on nine and a half acres with my parents, many siblings, a cat, and 20 or so chickens.

I love learning and education and am particularly interested in history, exercise science, and music.

I love music, particularly musical theatre and piano. My favorite composer is Chopin, and my favorite musicals include Hadestown, Hamilton, Titanic, and Fiddler on the Roof.

I have a great many hobbies, including knitting, watercolors, hair braiding, hand lettering, reading, and exercise.

I pray that my blogging may be to the glory of God alone!
